The Q-Lite version of the tire is designed specifically to reduce the weight of the tire, which helps to improve the handling and reduce unsprung weight for better performance. In addition to the dual compound construction, the Sportmax Q-Lite features Dunlop's Jointless Belt (JLB) technology, which uses a continuously-wound belt of aramid fiber to provide stability and reduce distortion at high speeds.
