Car Tyre - Summer

    Pilot Sport is an ultra high performance tyre from Michelin specially designed for sporty and extreme performance vehicles. The structure and tread pattern of the tyre is from the Formula One technology. Being a max performer in summer Pilot Sport is also extended to handle wet conditions. At the same time, it is not suitable for driving in near freezing temperatures. Being a reference tyre for Porsche, Michelin Pilot Sport is fitted as Original Equipment (OE) for every one in two Porsche. To provide unmatched performance, Pilot Sport is molded with Michelin's Advanced Technology tread compound with continuous circumferential center rib edged by directional V and W tread patterns. The Center rib ensures steering response and provides comfortable and stable drive. The swept back lateral grooves of the tyre provide good hydroplaning resistance by evacuating water under the contact patch of the road and the tyre. The hard-bitten sidewalls help out with powerful cornering stability and the cable beads helps in maintaining the shape of the tyre.
