Hankook OPTIMO 4S H730 is an all-season car tyre that delivers exemplary performance on all road conditions. Made for passenger cars, the Hankook OPTIMO 4S has been credited as an all-weather specialist with “absolutely impressive all-round talent” in Auto Bild's major All-Season Tyre Test of 2009.

Hankook OPTIMO 4S H730 comes with an all-season tread pattern that has greater hydroplaning resistance and good dry and wet grip. The broad shoulder blocks with curvy central rib and lateral groove pattern ensures complete safety on wet roads. The tread pattern wicks off water quickly, resulting in good grip on wet and slushy roads. The curved grooves offer even distribution of pressure on dry conditions, making OPTIMO a tyre with the lowest rolling resistance. The tyre was much appreciated in the Auto Bild All-Season competition for its least rolling resistance and high performance in dry conditions. Hankook OPTIMO 4S H730 has symmetrically-distributed sipes that make water dispersion easier and traction possible even in heavy rain scenarios. Cornering safety and stability in handling is assured by the tread. The wear is even and the comfort, maximum, making this Hankook a competitive all-season tyre. Hankook OPTIMO 4S H730 delivers high performance at low road noise – a trait needed for the all passenger car tyres. However, one needs to be careful while driving in heavy snow or ice as this is not a snow tyre and good traction can be least expected.

Lowest rolling resistance, excellent wet grip, good cornering/braking stability and low road noise – all these make Hankook OPTIMO 4S H730 a great all-season tyre for passenger cars. If you are one who is not comfortable with changing tyres every season, mount this Hankook on your vehicle and just get going! While the Hankook label comes with the assurance of long tyre life, OPTIMO is the best when it comes to handling all kinds of roads.

Highlights of OPTIMO 4S H730:

Competitive all-season tyre ideal for passenger cars
Unique tread pattern provides excellent wet grip
Even distribution of pressure provides lowest rolling resistance
Exceptional aquaplaning resistance, thanks to the numerous grooves
Good contact patch/traction on dry & wet road conditions
Rated as the best “all-season tyre” in Auto Bild's 2009 tyre test

Terrible over priced tyre, feels like there is no give/ grip in the compound and unable to deploy any power on damp roads. I have never had a tyre this bad, they must be an all season tyre as they are consistently bad in all seasons. Now fitted with some 205/50 R17 93 W MAXXIS Premitra HP5 XL which surpass these in all areas for 60% of cost.

Volvo V50. There is no feeling in cold wet conditions and its remarkably easy to break traction, it feels like the tyre is rock solid, which bearing in mind they are supposed to be all year means they are inadequate in winter so what's the point? As my friend, who races, said, when I moaned about them, don't buy a compromise.... Wear has been OK. Swapping them out now after 34k miles. Dry grip is good with progressive break away on lift off at rear and no excessive understeer. Never driven in snow (South England). Comfort good, but at £100 a pop....will see how these get on at £60 MAXXIS Premitra HP5 XL
