It succeeds the Winter Sport 4D which had seen a considerable success in the market. The tyre features an increased number of tread blocks than its predecessors, The additional edges in the tread allows for a better contact with the road's surface, resulting in improved traction in snow. The sipes in the pattern are angled and longer which allows them to exercise an excellent grip even on slippery surfaces.
