    Proxes T1R is an ultra-high performance tyre exceptionally designed for exclusive sport sedans and coupes. The new silica enriched tread compound offers excellent dry performance and helps in reducing heat. The advanced tread design with V-shaped grooves help to improve aquaplaning resistance, which results in better traction on wet surfaces. The T-mode design technology along with high modulus bead apex rubber offers good steering response. The robust casing construction with high tensile steel belt increases stability even at high speeds. Rigid shoulder rib bands prevent uneven tread wear by distributing pressure evenly across the tread which results in smoother and comfortable ride. It also improves the life expectancy of the tyre. Proxes T1R's unidirectional tread pattern increases durability and enhances the appearance of the vehicle.

      Recent changes to the compound of this tyre make it dangerous on a MGTF. Reported to Toyo but at the moment no offer of refund. Cars handling totally ruined. Old Toyos were great, new ones very bad.
