SP winter Sport 3D is an Original Equipment (OE) Performance winter tyre specially developed for sports car, coupes and sedans. They are designed to provide good traction on dry, wet and snowy surface. New silica mixing process is used in the tread compound to give enhanced grip and elasticity at low temperature. The tread design is highly directional in pattern. The cutting-edge Active Traction Sipe System has three different sipes which helps in achieving different types of traction. The central tread block with pulling sipes provides good traction during accelerating and braking process. The intermediate high-amplitude sipes ensures stability and control on wet surface. The 3D sipes in the shoulder block enhance the stability and handling of the vehicle. The Multi-Radius Tread (MRT) technology helps in delivering uniform pressure across the tyre and provides good dry traction. SP winter Sport 3D is also embedded with twin steel belts using JointLess Band (JLB) of nylon to give good contact patch. It is branded with snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol.
