Wanli S1086 Winter Challenge is made exclusively for the winter roads. Rugged-looking with studless tread compound, this Wanli is suitable for all time winter driving. The tread compound is made with circumferential and lateral grooves that ensure proper channelling of mud and water. The grooved, siped and dimpled broad shoulders wick off water quickly from the contact patch, providing good traction and wet grip. The dimples on the shoulder and the center tread blocks maintain strong grip in slush and wet conditions. The laterally-placed sipes ensure snow traction and dry grip. Added to that, they reduce rolling noise, thereby, offering good ride quality and comfort. Wanli S1086 Winter Challenge comes with angled grooves in the center. This tyre is superb in snow. The car was hopeless with the ordinary tyres on, but with these Wanli winter tyres the car grips superbly.This is a second car so did not want to put on expensive winters,but these tyres are as good as the Avon ice tourings on the other car, but the Wanlis are considerably cheaper.

Da montare se vedete fuori dalla finestra che c'é neve sulla strada, da smontare SUBITO se vedete che fuori dalla finestra che non c'è neve sulla strada. Ma come hanno fatto ad omologarli? In compenso ho ritrovato il piacere del "traverso" in tutte le situazioni.

Je me demande comment on peut faire des pneus aussi pourris il ne tiennes riens !!!! Au feu rouge ou au stop surtout bien d'oser l'accelerateur pour ne pas les faires patiner et la quand la route est moulliée attention on arrive meme a passer les vitesse quand les pneus patine au démarrage vraiment pneus effroyables sur route humide on se dit que sur route seche sa ne peu que mieu aller mais la le bruit et terrible par contre assez satissfait du grip sur la neige.

Goede band voor besneeuwde wegen, echter in Nederland niet zoveel last van. Spijt van de keuze en zal ze daarom ook iedereen afraden. Zijn wel onverslijtbaar, denk dat dat de reden is dat dit geen goede winterbanden zijn (te hard). Ik rijd ze hopelijk deze zomer kaal. Heb er al een zomer mee doorgereden, maar nauwelijks slijtage kunnen ontdekken.
